Wow I read this article and it was so uplifting. I imagined beautiful vegetable and herb gardens growing all of the cities of the country. gardening takes a certain type of person like the saying “greenthumb” and I think that its a talent. Though out of necessity as the times we live in have created an uprise in honing this craft and ability in those, like myself who never thought of themselves as having a greethumb. It no longer becomes a hobby for those that enjoy the energy and fulfillment of growing their own gardens but of a desire to change our accessibility to healthy foods. If we all started to do this greenthumbs helping us brownthumbs along the way, we could start spreading the healthy food source to everyone in larger cities where there isn’t room to grow huge gardens in the fields like in rural places; but instead must find innovative ways to create a healthy lifestyle in places that before have been thought of as cement jungles.I found this article on natural news and am posting it here for reference. Is this the wave of the future? gardens sprouting up everywhere to help feed healthy food to the masses? If so, it would be a hopeful one.

losing weight bikram yoga and my beinjoy yoga mat
I practice bikram yoga two to three times per week to promote health and fitness in my day to day life. I would have to say that as a person who preferred to run and go to the gym I thought that yoga was too gentle and wouldn’t help me keep to the fitness level and tone I wanted to physically be in. At first i only did it once a week for my back as I have a small bit of scoliosis and it was the only thing that helped with my twisted back pains.
As I started to do the Quantum Biofeedback wieght-loss program on myself I realized that by breaking down the fat and working to dissolve it I would need to sweat more and drink more water. Why? Because fat cells only leave your body through liquid form i.e through bodily urine waste or through sweating. Nothing makes you sweat more than Bikram yoga. Any bloating I get goes away with one session of yoga and after one class my clothes fit looser. That’s great weight loss if you add the Biofeedback to your practice as well. Together this makes the perfect combination to stay fit.
My Beinjoy yoga mat. I have the best yoga mat in the world to make my practice complete. Its made out of biodegradable materials and has extra cushion so that I feel comfortable in class. This is rare among yoga mats as I used to take two mats with me for the extra support and now I don’t have to for a few reasons. One. The material itself has a buoyancy that is not found in typical mats and helps relieve the pressure. Two. Its matte material helps to keep the mat from getting slippery as I sweat. three. it actually has the mid-line engraved into it to keep me aligned in your poses. Four. It has the flower of life motif embossed into it to help keep my brain in sacred geometry for added mental support. Anyone who is a fan of sacred geometry will appreciate the power of this shape while doing yoga. If you’re doing yoga on a weekly basis or if you just want to have a great experience you should always have a good yoga mat and a good yoga towel to absorb the sweat. You can find it here
